Zeiss Supreme | FF

With a look familiar to Zeiss Ultra Primes but faster and full frame for thin depth of field — immersive — filming. A benchmark for modern shooting.

FF Benchmark

If Master Primes and Ultra Primes and Super Speeds had a baby and that baby grew up to cover full frame... Supremes share characteristics with all three of Zeiss' older sets. They breathe more than Master Primes, about as much as Ultra Primes. They're noticeably compact high speed lenses, harkening back to their Super Speed roots. They share the family tendency toward objective (but not boring) storytelling with neutral colour, excellent flare control and consistent reliable character. As with Ultra and Master Primes they have a ton of fantastic focal lengths with really great wides. While some DPs lean on their lenses to spice up the image or even become a main ingredient, others just want the lenses to sympathetically capture the scene that they created. These lenses work well for the latter type of Artist. Indeed, they are probably the new Full Frame Benchmark.
