After a long relentless drive pursuing the image excellence of Nikon and Canon Sigma finally achieved their goal with Sigma Art lenses — a group of beautiful primes that typically matched or exceeded the performance of their peers. Sigma wrapped this superb glass in their own well constructed metal, creating the first high performing alternative to the European heavy-weights that dominated cinema manufacture. These are impressively small, very fast, flare resistant lenses that compare with Zeiss Supremes. We've had them cut with countless large projects as they've been used on drones, gimbals and car rigs for many major projects. Pawel Edelman used them to shoot Corner Office with John Hamm, where accurate geometry and clean corners contributed to look he pursued in that film.
