Lomocron Square Front 2x

A fun fusion of Leica R Summicron f/2 taking lenses matched with venerable Russian front cylinders. Rehoused by Whitepoint, these feature user friendly housings that enable clip-on matteboxes and massively improved close focus. The lenses give vintage blue flares and good overall colour and sharpness. They also exhibit noticeable mumps; the close focus comes with significant dimensional change, making these a poor choice for most films or longer format projects, but quite possibly a real feature for certain scenes, commercials or music videos that call for an exagerated look.
