Elegant Modern
These are the lenses many people want when they think 'Anamorphic'. A number of vintage anamorphics are simply not sufficiently refined - espeically on their wide end - for modern tastes. Cooke SF have excellent geometry in the wide angle focal lengths, satisfying flare without being too 'on the nose' and faces look superb. Some anamorphic lenses have noticeable 'smear' in the top and bottom thirds of the image; not these. Cooke SF feature lovely differential breathing but retain a beautiful frame in the top and bottom thirds. Expect impressively good looking imagery with these lenses along with the anamorphic feeling that defines the format.
