Versatile Performance

Canon and Fujifilm are locked in combat. Usually this means the Titan (Fujifilm) brings out the impressive initial product (e.g. Cabrio 19-90) and then Canon (the Titan Challenger) brings out a product that exceeds Fuji in some form, but at the expense of something (e.g. Canon 17-120). This clash of the Titans has provided a lot of innovation in the modern zoom space — including the Cabrios, Premistas, many wonderful Canon lenses, the 50-1000 Canon and now the 25-1000 Fuji Box Lens. All of these are oustanding lenses and cut well with any primes that are reasonably modern (including a lot of the stills lenses of the 70s and 80s, which have relatively modern optics with multi-coated optics and aspherical elements). Of special note — the 25-250 has a built in 1.5x expander / extender, which turns the s35 lens into at 37-375 full frame lens, by simply flipping a lever. Now thats a GREAT feature.
