Workhorse Zooms
They play well. Flat field illumination. The 12x ramps (darkens) after 210mm with a half stop loss by 290. The Big zoom needs (NEEDS) proper dovetail integrated lens support. The 17-80 has been forgotten -- what a pity becasue this lightweight super fast true T2.2 zoom renders skin beautifully and is light enough to be used handheld on today's small cams. Its the ideal companion to Cooke S4s. Or just use it instead of S4s. The lightweight zooms are just that, lovely lightweight Angenieux.
